Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled
Data Engineer with expertise in Databricks
to join our growing team.
In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines and systems that drive meaningful insights for our clients.
You will leverage your expertise in data engineering and cloud technologies to ensure efficient, scalable, and robust data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Data Pipeline Development
: Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and Apache Spark.
Data Integration
: Develop solutions to integrate data from various structured and unstructured sources into data lakes and cloud-based warehouses.
Data Transformation & Modeling
: Implement data transformation processes and optimize data models to support analytics and business intelligence.
Performance Optimization
: Analyze existing data processes, identify bottlenecks, and optimize for better performance and scalability.
Collaboration
: Work closely with Data Architects, Data Scientists, and Business Analysts to align data engineering efforts with business goals.
Governance & Security
: Ensure data security and compliance with industry regulations while maintaining data integrity and quality.
Innovation
: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data engineering, Databricks, and cloud technologies to enhance our capabilities.
Required Skills & Experience
Education
: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2 years using Databricks and Apache Spark.
Technical Expertise
:
Proficiency in
Databricks
,
Apache Spark
, and
Python
(3.6+).
Experience with cloud platforms such as
AWS
or
Azure
for data storage and processing.
Strong knowledge of
SQL
for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Hands-on experience with
data lake architectures
and
ETL/ELT processes

Familiarity with
data warehousing
solutions like Snowflake or Redshift.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with
CI/CD pipelines
using tools like Jenkins.
Strong understanding of
data security protocols

best practices.
Certifications in Databricks, AWS, or Azure are a plus.
