About the role This is a 100% remote position As a Senior Data Engineer, is responsible for the development, construction, maintenance, and testing of architectures, such as databases and large-scale processing systems.
Is responsible play a pivotal role in optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up, working closely with data analysts to help guide data solutions and business strategies.
What you will be doing: Develop, construct, test, and maintain data architectures (e.g., databases, large-scale processing systems, and pipelines).
Collaborate with data analysts to find and apply best practices in data management.
Implement data flow solutions and build optimal data pipeline architectures.
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet business requirements.
Build analytics tools to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
Improve existing systems by analyzing opportunities for optimization.
Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
What you´ll need to succeed in this role: Experience in a multi context data environment Experience dealing directly with stakeholders Experience working in a Agile team Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Must be a team player Good problem solving skills and ability to unravel the complexity of projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in a data engineering role.
Fluent English Fluent Portuguese Differentials: Knowledge Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc Have participated in a Data structure migration Proficient in scripting languages like Python, Java, Scala, etc.
