The Big Data Fabric Services (BDFS) enables SAP Lines of Business and customers to easily enter the world of Big Data.WHAT YOU'LL DOAs a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for the design, coding, testing, and quality assurance in a development team. Your tasks will include:Work on design, coding, and quality assurance tasks related to specific product features.Development activities in Java.Work in an agile team that uses the Scrum framework.Mentor and guide junior developers.Support Product Owners and Architects on technical discussions.Help to build PoCs and research possible technical solutions.WHAT YOU BRINGRequired skillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering.Advanced or fluent English.Excellent programming skills and knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and complexity.Willingness to take ownership and drive new developments.Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.Familiarity with design patterns, Clean Code, CI/CD, Code review, and TDD.Knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to quickly learn new areas of knowledge.Experience with cloud development.Nice to haveExperience with Java development.Experience with CI/CD.LEARNING OPPORTUNITIESBy joining our team, you will be exposed to the latest technologies and work with world-class developers.MEET YOUR TEAMYou will work with your team on the SAP HANA Cloud & Datalakehouse/Big Data Fabric Services.
