SAP Datasphere is a comprehensive data service built on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) that enables every data professional to deliver seamless and scalable access to mission-critical business data. It is the next generation of SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, with new capabilities that enhance data discovery, modeling, and distribution. With a unified experience for data integration, data cataloging, semantic modeling, data warehousing, data federation, and data virtualization, SAP Datasphere enables data professionals to easily distribute authoritative business data – with business context and logic preserved – across the data landscape.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a developer who would like to build the foundation of our solution, focusing on topics such as provisioning and metering. THE ROLE
As a developer of the Datasphere Foundations team, you will work in an innovative cloud environment and be part of an agile team alongside experienced colleagues and early talents. You will focus on all stages of the development cycle: design, code, test, and assure quality of the SAP Datasphere product using state-of-the-art Web technologies such as Golang and Python. Supporting maintenance, CI/CD, and DevOps are also tasks of your new role. You will have the opportunity to support stakeholders and customers and to collaborate with members from other teams in the SAP Datasphere and SAP Data Intelligence.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
As a Developer for the Datasphere Foundations Brazil development team in the SAP Product & Engineering unit, you should bring a hands-on working style and passion for agile Cloud development. Entrepreneurial drive, the ability to "think outside the box" and drive innovation from idea to execution will help you achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced product environment. Being a team player working with multiple development teams and across locations will be essential for your team's success.
What you'll do
In your role as a Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing cloud services in an Agile Scrum development environment. Participate in the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including the following:
Work on design, coding with languages such as Golang, Python, Java, shell script, and others.Work on cloud-native development for microservices architectures.Cloud Infrastructure.Docker & Kubernetes.CI/CD tasks in a global development environment using technologies such as Jenkins.Work with secure development best practices and methodologies throughout the development and deployment processes for new or existing solutions.Work in an agile team that uses the Scrum framework to self-organize and work towards the development goals.Be part of a globally distributed group that has an enormous impact in the Enterprise Software industry on a global scale.WORK EXPERIENCE
• University degree in computer science or related field.
• Professional work experience in software development.
