Responsibilities Collaborate closely with the software development team, serving as a primary point of contact for infrastructure-related matters.
Provide support for production incident response and assist with application deployments.
Automate manual processes to reduce errors and implement proactive issue detection mechanisms.
Enhance and maintain information security measures to protect production and testing environments.
Contribute to the production support team to ensure the high availability of our sites and platforms.
Actively participate in maintaining and updating our collaborative documentation system.
Requirements Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, etc.
); AWS certification is preferred.
Proven track record in managing observability for complex, distributed environments.
Advanced Linux systems expertise, including shell scripting and performance tuning (Debian-based systems, Ubuntu preferred).
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PHP, Python, and JavaScript.
Strong background in networking concepts, network security, firewalls, and virtualization technologies (e.g., Docker).
Hands-on experience with Git, WebHooks, Jenkins, and other CI/CD tools.
Familiarity with various database technologies; performance tuning experience is a plus.
Solid understanding of core Internet protocols (SSL, HTTPS, TCP/IP, etc.).
Knowledge of information security tools (e.g., nmap, sqlmap, Metasploit).
Experience in deploying and maintaining Java web applications.
Working knowledge of WordPress; and familiarity with other web technologies is beneficial.
Strong English language skills, both spoken and written.
