What you'll do:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer in LX Language Technology, you will administer and support SAP-owned and third-party language technology tools and the corresponding infrastructure. You will provide content providers, language technology tool users, SAP partners, and customers with language-technology related process designs, consulting, technical solutions, and support services.
You will provide primary and secondary technological support and consulting for language technology tools, systems, and the overall landscape. Your primary focus will be to ensure continuous connectivity, security, availability, performance, and general support of language-related tools and infrastructure. You will participate in incident management processes, coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents, minimize impact, and perform troubleshooting.
You will document infrastructure configurations, procedures, and best practices. You will also develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and monitors to detect potential issues and help improve system reliability.
Besides your operational tasks, you will be expected to continuously monitor relevant technology developments to identify the latest trends, tools, and innovations that might influence or impact new and existing functionality. This includes your motivation to drive the change from an on-premise infrastructure to a cloud-based environment.
