**What you will do**:
- Work closely with IC designers and test engineers through preparation and execution of chips and product qualification and characterization tests.
- Mount test setups for measurement and execute the tests on both packaged samples and bare dies (using die prober).
- Configure and execute test automation software.
- Give support for prototyping and operating, production test equipment.
- Draw/design PCBs, solder & mount components on printed circuit boards (PCBs)
- Purchase of materials and components for the silicon engineering lab
- Be responsible for Lab infrastructure maintenance.
**What you will bring**:
- Have a technician degree or an associate's degree (2 year program) degree in a related area.
- Have worked as an electronics lab technician for 2+ years.
- Basic knowledge of IC components
- Ability to read and interpret a datasheets and technical documents.
- Experience with PCB drawing software is a plus.
- Experience with LPKF (PCB prototyping equipment) is a plus.
- Experience soldering surface mount components on PCBs
- Experience using standard test and measurement equipment including spectrum analyzers, power meters, signal generators, and oscilloscope.
- Experience in using die prober and micromanipulators is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communications (Portuguese).
- Good reading and writing in English.
- You're diligent and willing to take the initiatives for process and flow improvements.
