The Venezuelan influx continues to need a humanitarian response in the northern border, where the internal relocation strategy is key to fostering socio-economic inclusion. In parallel, Haitians, Afghans, and other forcibly displaced populations continue to arrive and demand additional support to access self-sufficiency.UNHCR Country Office in Brasília oversees the states of DF, GO, MS, MT, TO, MA, and CE, responsible for monitoring the implementation of the Livelihoods Strategy. The office collaborates regularly with various partners, including government entities and NGOs.Key ResponsibilitiesAccompany the work of the internal relocation reception centers, ensuring compliance with guidelines.Provide capacity building to local actors on livelihoods issues.Prepare written reports on the Area of Responsibility (AoR) as needed.Assist in improving refugees' access to employment opportunities.Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate should demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, excellent communication, teamwork, interpersonal, and writing abilities. Fluency in Portuguese and working knowledge of English and Spanish are required. Experience working with refugees and migrants is an advantage.EligibilityThis position is advertised to internal and external applicants.
