What You'll Do
As a Senior Front-End Software Engineer in our Dealer group, you will have the opportunity to work with a cohesive team, bringing ideas to solve big problems. Your team owns the delivery of key capabilities that drive significant organic traffic. You bring skills in designing, implementing, and testing software solutions to business problems. You are comfortable working closely with product managers, tech leads, and the other engineers on your team. Your work is impactful across our network of vehicle marketplaces and a big part of something big.
Develop and maintain the dealer's administrative platform/dashboard utilizing Vue.js, Nuxt.js, Typescript, and CSS3.
Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and UX designers to quickly build and deploy new features.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX design, optimizing applications for speed and scalability.
Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and company standards.
Perform code reviews, offering constructive feedback and coaching to ensure high-quality code across the team.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying and implementing timely solutions.
Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development, incorporating them into the development process as necessary.
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of hands-on recent professional experience working with Vue 3 / VueX.
7+ years of experience building large-scale front-end applications.
Experience working with Nuxt.js 3 and other SSR frameworks.
Extensive experience with HTML, CSS3, FlexBox, CSSGrid, Bootstrap, and the latest style and design principles.
Experience integrating backend applications (API, RESTFUL).
Extensive experience with product lifecycle (Design / Development / Testing / Deployment / Monitoring).
Experience building high-availability and high-performance front-end systems.
Experience with writing unit tests (Vitest, Jet).
Good communication and collaboration skills, able to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Sound software engineering methodology: meaningful and deeply-rooted opinions about testing and code quality, ability to make sound quality/speed trade-offs.
Bonus Points:
Working knowledge of various DB engines (MySQL/MariaDB, Mongo, ElasticSearch).
Previous experience with other Front-End frameworks like React and Angular.
Experience building/maintaining management platforms or dashboards.
Experience working with PHP / Laravel (MVC) or C#.
Experience leading engineering teams.
Building and maintaining cost-efficient, scalable cloud solutions in AWS (S3, CloudWatch, CloudFront).
Working experience with Figma, Pinia, and Fluther.
At least 2+ years of experience in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
Knowledge of project management software (JIRA).
Experience migrating Vue projects from Vue 2 to Vue 3.
Domain knowledge in RVs, Motorcycles, ATVs, and Trucks.
