You are willing to help build a feature end-to-end and feel comfortable taking on a leadership role around any UI aspects. You enjoy getting to go heads down on larger projects and deliver exceptional experiences to customers within a deadline, but are also willing to pivot priorities on short notice to accommodate our Sales motion.You are at your best when you're able to work autonomously and feel empowered to own decisions in order to keep projects on track. You are able to effectively communicate in multiple formats, both synchronously and asynchronously, and don't shy away from collaboration opportunities in order to learn from others, along with passing your knowledge on to them. You are interested in solving hard problems, moving quickly, and being part of a rapidly growing company.You will:Take ownership of projects that will span across our full set of systems from data acquisition to the end user experience, or impact only a specific aspect of our systemsDevelop system integrations across multiple technologies and providers to provide customers with a near real-time tracking and informationModel and normalize incoming data into our system across all sources to provide a consistent user experience across data providersWork closely with our Product and Design teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant user experiencesHelp drive best practices around Frontend development within the teamBe a mentor for other engineers on the team at varying levelsWe're looking for:3-5+ years of real-world experience with software engineering best practicesAn emphatic, collaborative, and consultative work styleThe understanding that simple solutions are the best solutionsAn acute attention to detail with an understanding for the importance of quality and finish on the end user experienceExperience building large, modular Javascript applications with all the usual technologies associated with this ecosystem around testing, packaging, and deploymentExperience working with 3rd party data providers and normalizing that data into a larger systemExperience in common technologies we work with throughout our stack including React, Material UI, StorybookJS, TypeScript, GraphQL, Node.js, Temporal, Postgres, Dynamo, and AWS would be a plus, but not requiredCuriosity around programming languages and services where you have enough insight across the programming landscape to step into unfamiliar code and make sense of what is going onThe salary range for this role is USD$5,417 - $6,122.19/mo, plus equity.
