Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Glulam Structural Engineer with 10+ years of expertise in structural engineering, particularly with glulam and other timber structures. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and overseeing the construction of high-profile projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and analysis of glulam structures, including beams, columns, arches, and trusses.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop innovative and efficient structural solutions.
Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical drawings, and construction documents.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
Stay updated with the latest developments in timber engineering and building codes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on glulam and timber structures.
Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD tools.
Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and best practices related to timber construction.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
