You will have the opportunity to become part of a thriving and motivated department, where you can challenge yourself by managing a versatile and comprehensive position with a wide range of tasks and responsibilities.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:Ensure daily follow up of the status of import and export shipments;Be responsible for monthly analysis of the performance of freight forwarders, brokers and carriers;Notify about problems and situations that impact availability for the organization;Participate in the Continuous Improvement process for the import and export area;Be responsible for monthly analysis of lead times and transit times from import and export shipments;Prepare reports on monthly department performance results;Act on cost reduction and lead time optimization.Minimum QualificationsThe ideal candidate possesses these skills:Bachelor's degree or similar within International Trade, or alternatively have some years of experience in an import and export environment;Outstanding skills in communication, organization, analysis, and negotiation;Knowledge of HTS classification of goods;Knowledge of special regimes (i.e. ex-tariff, automotive regime, drawback, temporary export/import, etc.);Advanced English;Spanish (Differential).Danfoss – Engineering TomorrowAt Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways - driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
