This role is expected to be 100% remote and open across Brazil. This is expected to be a long term contract.Infrastructure and Cloud EngineerWHAT YOU DO:Continuously monitor the performance and availability of network and cloud infrastructure, using various tools to ensure systems are running optimally and addressing any issues promptly.Design and implement disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures.Maintain detailed documentation of network and cloud configurations, changes, and procedures, and generate regular reports on system performance, security incidents, and compliance with standards.Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of services and resolution of issues related to third-party products and services.Perform capacity planning to ensure the infrastructure can meet current and future demands and optimize resource allocation to balance performance and cost.Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices by attending training sessions, workshops, and conferences as necessary.Deploy and manage security measures such as intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and encryption protocols to protect client data and infrastructure.Work closely with other IT teams, including software development, operations, and support, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive IT solutions.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored IT solutions to meet those needs.Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of network and cloud infrastructure for clients, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.Set up, configure, and maintain advanced firewall systems to protect clients' networks from threats and unauthorized access.Deliver comprehensive support for Microsoft Azure and network-related issues, responding to tickets in accordance with agreed upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Conduct regular security assessments and configuration reviews to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen the overall IT security posture of clients.Support clients in adopting new technologies that align with their evolving business needs, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.WHAT YOU BRING:Strong knowledge and hands-on experience (3+ years) in designing, configuring and maintaining Azure cloud environments. Strong Knowledge in setting up and maintaining Azure NSG, PaaS, virtual machines and related resources.Good knowledge in Microsoft 365, Azure AD.Good knowledge of CSP with the ability to quickly respond to adds/moves/changes.Strong experience in networking and networking concepts as it relates to cloud infrastructure.Good experience with on-premises Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.Good knowledge in Windows products (server and workstation).Good knowledge in Security principles including system hardening.Demonstrated experience in Network architecture and design.Strong Network Security experience.Overall good knowledge of cybersecurity domain and principles.Must be able to work within Canadian Business hours.Must be able to be on-call and work outside of business hours.Great communication and client-facing experience.Additional SkillsAtlassian JIRA Service Management and ConfluenceTechnical writingWHAT YOU DEMONSTRATE:Proven track record of troubleshooting and problem determination to facilitate speedy and accurate resolution to client issues.Proven ability to engage and communicate with clients directly to facilitate their technical needs.Demonstrate an advanced technical knowledge of networking and cloud concepts.
