We're seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in GCP to work collaboratively with clients and teams, delivering innovative and scalable solutions while fostering best practices in cloud, DevOps, and infrastructure engineering. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with teams to launch projects through hands-on implementation, evaluate existing infrastructure, and drive improvements. Partner with clients to understand their needs and create a technical roadmap to achieve their business goals. Contribute to the growth of the cloud and infrastructure practice through collaboration with business development, marketing, and capability development teams. Build and ensure controls and processes for continuous delivery, automation, and infrastructure evolution. Monitor and ensure that technical deliverables consistently meet expectations on projects. Provide expertise in DevOps, cloud, platform, and infrastructure engineering, both internally and on client sites. Establish strong, trusting relationships with clients' engineering leadership. Identify and implement innovative solutions to address current constraints and policies. Qualifications: Technical Skills: Cloud Expertise: Solid experience with GCP cloud and its associated tools. Infrastructure Knowledge: Experience in designing and implementing enterprise/web-scale hosting platforms. Familiarity with application servers, web servers, and database administration. Deep understanding of cloud and virtualization platforms, infrastructure automation, and application hosting technologies. DevOps Skills: Understanding of DevOps philosophies, Agile methodologies, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Proficiency with continuous integration and delivery tools for diverse tech stacks. Technical Proficiency: Experience with at least one IaaS cloud platform and two or more application runtime platforms (physical servers, virtual servers, container clusters, serverless, databases). Scripting proficiency in at least one language and experience building Linux servers, Windows servers, or container clusters. Familiarity with monitoring systems for availability, performance, or security. Understanding of security concerns, including infrastructure vulnerabilities, secrets management, network security, and software supply chain security. Bonus Skills: Experience with unit testing, automated testing tools, and performance/stress testing. Language Proficiency: Intermediate Spanish (required), Intermediate English (preferred). Professional Skills: Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Passion for designing robust, scalable, and flexible solutions that drive business transformation. Ability to partner with diverse IT teams, including infrastructure technicians, security analysts, system administrators, and IT managers. Adaptability to uncertainty and a proactive approach to change and decision-making with limited information.
