Job DescriptionAs a Senior Software Engineer at Fugro, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of innovative software products, ensuring quality, timelines, and cost-effectiveness of innovation projects are achieved.
Your work will comply with company standards and you will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the engineering process by delivering safe and high-quality software increments.What You Will DoDevelop and maintain high-quality software throughout its lifecycle;Implement software projects using Python, C#, Angular, or similar technologies;Ensure regular communication with other developers and teams involved in the development process;Deliver and recommend architectural solutions to the product;Implement, test, and perform system and functionality corrections (bug fixes);Act as a member throughout the delivery process of agile methodologies using Scrum;Build and maintain efficient and reliable/stable source codes;Collaborate with team members at all stages, from prototype, production, and implementation/progress throughout the project;Solve complex real-world challenges effectively, efficiently, and creatively;Act as a quality keeper by documenting code, processes, architectural decisions, and increasing code coverage continuously.What We Are Looking For8+ years of experience coding with Python, C#, Angular, or similar;Experience with Electron development;Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL;Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with test automation;Familiarity with Agile development methodologies;Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;At least Upper-Intermediate level of spoken and written English.Bonus PointsCloud Certifications, preferably AWS;Familiarity with GitHub and GitHub Actions;Previous experience working with geospatial data.How We WorkAt Fugro, we believe in alignment, autonomy, and personal accountability throughout the product life cycle.
