Senior Institutional Research Analyst

The International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP) is a thriving graduate school, and we are seeking a Senior Institutional Research Analyst who is looking to work in a hybrid environment under the scope of our Information Integration unit and oversee all institutional assessment activities, such as reporting, surveys, and evaluations.
This position is full-time and exempt.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Social Science, or a related field.
3 years of experience in institutional research, assessment, education statistics, or a related field in higher education.
Familiarity with higher education assessment practices and accreditation processes.
Experience in education, program evaluation, business intelligence, or a related field.
Curiosity to ask questions that help shape the understanding of student populations and business performance, partnered with follow-through and execution.
Knowledge of analytical and reporting software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Critical thinking skills with a highly detailed-oriented approach.
Ability to work effectively as a team and independently.
Willingness and ability to adapt and learn.
Reliable internet and dedicated office space when working remotely.
Knowledge and proven experience of utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to navigate to our Bethlehem office on a bi-weekly basis at a minimum.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will oversee all institutional assessment activities, including but not limited to IPEDS (Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System), the IIRP's Data Book and Factbook, and other academic outcomes reporting for graduate school.
Responsibilities include:
Work cross-functionally with units to collect, analyze, and disseminate academic and strategic goal progress data.
Provide oversight for all institutional surveys and evaluations.
Encourage an institutional culture of assessment through collaboration and engagement.
Serve as a liaison between the Assessment Committee and the institutional research function of the graduate school.
Create and administer regular and ad hoc surveys conducted by the institute.
Conduct data analyses using statistical methods and tools, ensuring data integrity and quality across all assessment activities.
Provide technical expertise for academic assessment activities.
Participate in cross-departmental meetings to understand and support various assessment needs.
Cross-train to support fellow unit members and back-up others as institutionally needed.
Perform additional tasks as assigned or requested.
Knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations in the education sector.
Proficiency in statistical analysis software (Python [Pandas, NumPy, Polars], R, SPSS, SAS) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
