(CS) is a large Japanese non-bank financial services company with an AUM of USD30bn engaging in credit card issuing/acquiring, SME financing, real estate financing, and various Fintech investments and alternative finance.
Over the recent years, Credit Saison has been successfully ramping up its private debt investments in Southeast Asia and India, offering senior debt capital to new age lenders, Fintech startups, and tech platforms (embedded finance) with a primary focus on the tech-led innovation and financial inclusion.
In February 2023, Credit Saison Brazil Participacoes Sociedade Limitada (CSBR) was established as a subsidiary with the aim of expanding its business in the country by investing in FIDC quota investments.
About the Role:We operate with a lean Investment team structure, covering deal sourcing, analysis, execution, monitoring and relationship management with partner stakeholders.
This role will navigate across the whole supply chain of our investment process and provide general support to the team.
Responsibilities:- Collect and analyze data/information for investment case studies and presentations;- Conduct industry and market studies;- Business model and sectorial analysis;- Financial statement analysis and modelling.
;- Support the senior team in prospecting for potential investments;- Manage the relationship with third party service providers, such as asset managers, credit originators and law firms;- Assist in the due diligence process;- Daily monitoring and reconciliation of transactions carried out, from the moment they are approved, until they are effectively registered, settled and repaid;- Prepare regular reports to present relevant information to the management team, such as financial performance, key metrics, and strategic insights.
Skills and Qualifications:- Graduation in Administration, Economics or Engineering;- At least 3 years of experience in investment management, equity/credit research, capital markets or M&A;- Native or bilingual proficiency in Portuguese & English (the interviews will be in English);- Creative thinking;- Financial modelling;- Hands-on attitude;- Advanced Excel.
