Full Job Description As a Senior IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for helping planning, and executing all IT-related activities at EdgeUno.
In this role, you will analyze our current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training. You should have extensive knowledge of network maintenance and advanced industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge. From day one, you will have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our IT operations and an ongoing impact on our overall growth.
The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience tackling various hardware and software problems. They should be comfortable providing technology solutions to employees and working closely with third-party software companies to adopt new technologies and efficiently use existing ones. This candidate should have prior experience working with information technology and understanding the latest technology trends to ensure the technology in place is up to date.?
Core Responsibilities Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.Administer user access controls and permissions in compliance with security policies.Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative.Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software.Track and maintain hardware and software inventory.Analyze department needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions.Ensure network components meet needs and work together seamlessly, using the full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitive solutions.Continuously analyze current processes, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement.Prepare cost-benefit analysis reports when upgrades are necessary, continuously analyzing vendors to ensure they offer the best possible service and value for company needs.Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed.Develop and execute disaster procedures and maintain data backups.Desired Skills/Experience Experience with Zoho Platform and Intune.
Experience handling different operating systems like Microsoft, macOS, and Linux.
In-depth knowledge of Identity and Access Management principles and best practices.
Additional certifications in ITIL or similar technologies are a plus.
Cloud computing, DevOps, and Datacenter knowledge are a plus.Requirements C1+ English Level is a must.
Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science.
Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems (MS Exchange, Active Directory, CRM, and otherWindows-based systems), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring.
Expertise with implementing, configuring, and testing solutions.
