This role will act as a Business Partner for one of our Business Divisions, with a strategic vision and approach to business and all areas of law that relate to it. Therefore, our Legal department, in addition to technical excellence, has a broad understanding of our business strategy and how our products make a difference in the lives of our patients.
Furthermore, as the Legal department in Brazil is part of the Legal department in the Americas, our lawyers have exposure to different countries and cultures, as well as projects with other regions of the world.
**A Day in the Life**
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Assuming this role you will:
- Provide legal advice, consultancy and services to internal clients.
- Conduct meetings and negotiations with external clients.
- Draft and/or review contracts.
- Keep up to date about legislative issues.
- Do legal and strategic analysis related to legal matters.
- Advise the company in relation to risk assessment and regulations on various topics.
- Develop, revise or implement specific training programs for the company.
- Supervise/monitor corporate governance issues and its various committees.
- Coordinate demands with external law firms, supervising their activities.
**Must Haves**
- Active professional register
- At least 5 years of graduation
- Previous experience as an _inhouse counsel. _
- Availability to work in the hybrid model (2x per week at the office)
- Fluent English
