Come and join the adventure.SummaryThis is an exciting new role as a Senior Lending Product Specialist reporting to the Head of Lending, offering you an excellent opportunity in product development and career growth with exposure to lending business and technology across international markets.You will have the opportunity to work with the finest product managers and engineers in building lending products using the most contemporary cloud and API-based technologies under guidance from seasoned industry leadership.What you'll doProduct Specialization? Provide lending subject matter expertise to the product and engineering teams? Work closely with product managers in building the vision, roadmap, and backlog for the lending product? Provide details on lending products including BNPL, personal loans, auto loans, mortgages, and business loans? Build journeys for every stage of the lending product lifecycle? Craft user stories for events including booking, disbursement, partial or early repayment? Build scenarios for penalties, reschedule, restructure, non-performing loans, provisioning, and accounting? Work with the team in building a centralized collateral management used across lending, cards, and overdrafts? Provide details on financial calculations including instalment, interest, and charge calculations? Perform industry analysis and keep track of industry trends in terms of lending business and technology? Build roadmap and product backlog based on industry analysis? Prioritize features for development to meet customer and target market requirements? Monitor feature development and validate with user stories and scenarios? Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement? Be a thought leader for the lending product and present at financial technology eventsCollaborate with Sales and Pre-Sales Teams? Work closely with sales and pre-sales teams and equip them with required product training? Participate in pre-sales demos and respond to RFPs for the lending product? Work closely with the marketing team in creating product collaterals and client case studies? Provide inputs to the product communications team on key capabilities, vision, and roadmap of the productClient Interactions? Be the trusted advisor for our lending clients? Lead customer workshops, understand, validate, and document requirements? Work with the project management team in completing client deliverables? Actively resolve product issues identified during implementation? Responsible for customer success from the product group? Analyze data from customer service requests and identify solutions to improve customer experiencePartnerships? Identify partners to integrate for specialized areas in lending such as originations, collections, analytics, etc.? Work with the Head of Partnerships to onboard strategic partners and integrate with the platform? Support partnership teams in building integrations with the lending productMinimum Qualifications8+ years of experience and a successful track record of working in a lending environment with a leading financial institution or a well-established lending vendor as a Product Manager / Product OwnerDeep domain knowledge of lending including BNPL, Personal Loans, Business Loans, Auto Loans, and MortgagesGood working knowledge of the lending business at the regional level; knowledge of at least one region would be an added advantageHave been part of or played a significant role in the product development lifecycleHaving implemented lending products at banks or lending institutions would be an added advantageFamiliarity with lending ecosystem technology vendorsProduct ownership with attention to detailStrong passion for creating new products and go-to-market strategiesWorking knowledge of APIs, Postman, and AWS cloud computingExperience working in an agile environment using tools such as Jira, Miro, etc.Experience working closely with the engineering, architecture, and development teamsProficient in creating presentations and lending calculations using spreadsheetsInfluencing skills to prioritize customer requirementsProactive in taking up new challenges and initiatives for the success of the overall organizationAbility to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with one or multiple teamsAnalytical mindset with the development of data-driven recommendations to inform strategic decisionsExcellent oral and written communication skillsProficient in business English; proficiency in other European languages would be an added advantageExcellent academic background; a master's degree in finance or an MBA in finance would be highly desirableAuthorization to work in the UK.Pismo is a techfin providing a cutting-edge processing platform for card issuing, digital accounts, wallets, merchant management, and other next-gen payment solutions.
