The tech platform can handle billions of daily requests, process terabytes of raw daily data, and optimize clients' business.You as Machine Learning Engineer will join the Ad Intelligence and Forecasting team. This role involves looking at the history of the requests and forecasting by leveraging Machine Learning algorithms.ResponsibilitiesDesign new software and web applications, support applications under development, and customize current applicationsAssists with the software update process for existing applications and roll-outs of software releasesProvide technical leadership throughout the design process and recommend practices, procedures, and techniquesResearch, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reportsProduce technical specifications and determine operational feasibilityDevelop software verification plans and quality assurance proceduresIntegrate software components into a fully functional software systemPartner with global engineering, product, and operations teams to further incorporate collective innovationsGuide and mentor junior software engineersProvide support for the product during on-call rotations to resolve technical issuesRequirements5-8 years of hands-on work in Machine Learning and Big Data areasExtensive experience in machine learning algorithms implementation with Python or Scala languagesExperience with data technologies such as Spark, distributed message queue systems (e.g. Kafka), etcStrong knowledge of the AWS Cloud PlatformExperience with large system software design and developmentExperience with distributed systems and mission-critical systems is preferredDemonstrated expertise in problem-solving and technical innovationStrong passion for learning/practicing new technologyKnowledge about SDLC, Agile, and Software Engineering MethodologyStrong ability and persistence in technical supportStrong sense of responsibility, commitment, and proactivenessAt least an Upper-Intermediate level of EnglishWould be a plusExperience with GolangExperience in the Advertising industry
