We are looking for aSenior Finance Manager, LATAMto be based in Sao Paulo. In this role, you will report to a Financial Controller based in Hong Kong to implement financial accounting and operational support to ensure the smooth running of all lines of business locally. This means you will not only ensure reporting standards are implemented, you will also provide strategic guidance by identifying opportunities to add value to the business through cost optimization, margin improvement and tax strategies.What you'll needFinancial operations:Oversee daily financial operations by optimizing user, driver, corporate customer and vendor payments and collectionsBudgeting:Co-lead budgeting process with country director and provide deviation analysis to maintain budget controlsFinancial Accounting:Ensure daily, weekly, monthly, reporting standards are met and delivered on timeStatutory compliance:Filing statutory tax reports and oversee local audit as neededTeam development:Equip team with necessary knowledge and tools to achieve goalsLocal liaison:Liaise with external parties including but not limited to customers, vendors, lawyers, tax or government authorities, etc. HQ liaison:Prepare management reports and review them with HQ finance team and managementAssist in ad hoc assignment:Assist HQ in preparing information for any ad hoc tasksWhat we seekIntegrity and leadership:Make the right decisions for the business, lead and motivate others Strategic thinker:Ability to plan ahead to fulfill financial needs of each function for achieving ambitious business growth targetsStrong communicator:To liaise with HQ / Management / functional departments to align on allocated budgets and business requirementsDetail oriented:Meticulous on finalising reports and ensure legal compliance of the local entityWhat you'll needMinimum 7 years of working experience in finance/accounting field with at least 2 years of managerial experienceBachelor's degree in Finance/AccountingAt least 4 years of progressive audit experience and holding a CPA certification is strongly preferredHands on experience in management reporting, financial accounting and analysisStrong understanding of local taxation regulations with ability to adviseExperience in using accounting system, Xero/Oracle is advantageousStrong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Programme skillsExperience in performing payment gateway reconciliation and handle all payment gateway related issues is advantageousSound understanding on logistics or O2O business modelsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, willingness to teach and collaborate with othersPositive attitude and strong business acumenBrazil national with excellent written and spoken English and Portuguese; Spanish language skills a plus
