The existing team is a Product team that is building a backend for user-facing products.
You will help understand and analyze technical problems and performance issues, and assist with legacy migrations when necessary.
You need to be able to understand and troubleshoot data-intensive systems.Key Responsibilities:Plan and execute manual testing for new features on iOS, Android, and web applications.Conduct manual regression testing for weekly release candidate builds on native Android and iOS platforms.Update and maintain the manual test case database to reflect current functionality.Track and manage bug reports in Jira, ensuring efficient triaging and resolution.Perform manual verification of bug fixes and validate their impact on the system.Collaborate with engineers across platforms to ensure seamless feature implementation.Skills and Qualifications:6+ years of manual testing experience across web and/or mobile platforms.Proven ability to take ownership of testing processes and deliver results independently.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong task management skills, capable of handling multiple testing requests and completing them efficiently.Experience creating and maintaining test cases and related documentation.Hands-on experience testing native Android and iOS applications, including familiarity with adb commands, Android Studio, and XCode.Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman.About the role:Working hours: 40 hours per week.Location: Remote in Brazil, Chile, or Peru.Time Zone: PST.How does the process work?We have an interview with Meta IT's HR team, your future Manager here at Meta, and if approved, a final interview directly with the client's team.To apply for this position, please submit your resume highlighting your relevant experience and why you are interested in this role.
