Senior .Net Engineer

As a Senior .Net Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing, maintaining and improving the current line of software related to payments, being responsible for analysing current applications, including performance diagnosis and troubleshooting of issues, and recommending solutions.We are looking for candidates who are as excited about pushing their development as they are about advancing our technology stack.Our core developers are passionate about software engineering and enjoy developing their skills and abilities in a friendly and supportive environment of keen learners.WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:As part of an agile software development team, you will:Be responsible for developing, maintaining, improving and analysing current applicationsExecute performance diagnosis and troubleshooting of issues, and recommend solutions.Review code written by other team members to ensure standards are being maintained and code quality remains high.Refactor existing applications to make them more performant and stable.Guide junior members of the teamRequirements:At least 5 years of accumulated experience in software engineering using .NETFrameworks with C#Experience in building and maintaining web apps, web and Windows servicesAdvanced proficiency in optimizing database queries and stored proceduresAdvanced Proficiency in integrating with APIs (RESTful)Experience with TSQL and Microsoft SQL Server as RDBMSExperience in Redis key-value databaseExperience with source control (Git and SVN)Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies and security policiesExperience in working in an Agile environmentStrong verbal and written English communication skillsNice to have:Background in payment method integrations/payment systemsBackground in APM tools such as Kibana, Grafana, AppDynamicsBackground in Jenkins for automation and deploymentAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environmentEffective communication with non-technical as well as other team members
