Senior Network Engineer

Senior Network / Infrastructure Engineer Our client - Calian is looking to hire a Senior Network/Infrastructure Engineer to strengthen its NOC Service Line. This role will primarily focus on ensuring our clients' network is secure and well maintained. This role is 100% remote in Brazil with a long term contract. Client : www.calian.com Salary: 30,000 BRL/month (all inclusive CNPJ) Responsibilities: Architecture and Design: Design secure network solutions based on the enterprise standard catalog and market best practices Delivery: Deploy, configure and troubleshoot Client's networks, on-premises or in the Cloud Health Check: Perform network security and performance health check to Client's environment Operational support: Support the managed services contract related to network and network security within the agreed Service Level Agreement Client relationship: Ensure at any point in time client is aware and satisfied of the progress of activities Skills and Experience Required: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience (5 years) in designing, configuring and maintaining Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama Good knowledge and hands-on experience (3 years) in designing, configuring and maintaining FortiNet FortiGate firewalls Strong Knowledge in Azure NSG's Good knowledge in Microsoft 365, Azure AD Strong experience in networking and networking concepts as it relates to cloud infrastructure. Good experience with on-premises Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange Good knowledge in Windows products (server and workstation) Good knowledge in Security principles including system hardening Demonstrated experience in Network architecture and design Strong Network Security experience Overall good knowledge of cybersecurity domain and principles Must be able to work within Canadian Business hours Must be able to be on-call and work outside of business hours Great communication and client-facing experience Additional Skills and Experience considered as an asset: FortiManager and FortiAuthenticator Palo Alto, FortiNet and Cisco certifications Atlassian JIRA Service Management and Confluence Technical writing Project Management
