Job DescriptionThe position is responsible for activities related to overall OEM customer service with regards to support of demand planning, OE inventory, plant customer service representatives, and transportation. Monitoring logistics performance levels and actively participating in projects. Other functions include understanding and using the customer's systems and control of specific OE customers' logistics requirements.Development of New Customers/Products:Works with Traffic to set up carriersCoordinates special pre-build shipments with Plants and PDT EngineersCoordinates customer packaging requirementsCoordinate EDI setupCoordinates new customer setup with KAM/Controlling/Account ReceivablesOverdue Invoices:Monitor and manage customers' overdue invoicesOverdue root cause analysis and execution of correction action planLogistics Performance:Regular access according to the OEM requirement of the customer performance toolsShare the performance status with all parts involved, including plant, sales office, and BUFollow up on the responsible areas for action plans and 8D for performance improvementDiscuss and negotiate with the customer the undue penaltiesSupport participation in logistics audits, and implementation of MMOG (Material Management Operations Guideline) requirementsSales Reporting:Support on preparation and follow up of OE daily tracking and sales report concerning the regional business, and match this information with the established targetsPreparation of sales report including Actual Sales, Firm Orders, Chances/Risks, and stock levelExecute and manage sales according to the established forecastEmission of Credit and Debit NotesCustomer Relations:Promotes strong customer relationships with excellent customer support and an emphasis on customer service, through intensive contact with the client and periodic visitsMaintain and continuously improve the OE local administrative systems and methods to ensure OE Requirements (Web EDI, EDI, SAP, Customer's Supplier Portal, Automation of the DANFE/xml delivery)Maintain all the customers' systems related to sales and logisticsInput and management of customer requirements into POMsAnalysis and Implementation of Fiscal/Tax Flow and Logistics Requirements according to current legislation for existing and new customersSecure FOS and APO uploadDeliveries Management:Ensure customers' requirements are met in the business through an analysis of the requirements of the customer and structure availableEnsure that all the customers' orders are being met through a daily EDI check and direct contact with the customersManage export process, including transit and documents controlDaily input and verification of SAP sales orders to ensure that all the customer's demands are reflected in the systemVerification of Credit Availability and request of financial documentation for establishing new credit linesEmission of Shipment Units and Delivery notes for invoicingMonitor product import and export in order to secure on-time delivery and customer communicationProduction Plan:Verify if the production plan will cover the customer's demand, and negotiate with the Supply Chain Team possible changesInform the Supply Chain Team of any volume variation in order to adapt the production planAnalyze the Production Plan and Provide the Logistics with a Direct Shipment Delivery ScheduleFollow up inventory level versus customer requirementsGenerate SCORE reports to attend Central Logistics and local logistics requestsPrice Update:Update raw material information monthly for all customers, based on central informationUpdate forecast and all relative filesBudget / Forecast:Support the market planning by obtaining accurate annual/monthly/weekly customer demand informationProvide accurate and up-to-date Forecast figures per customer and preparation for forecast meetingsManagement of forecast accuracyAdditional InformationHybrid job - Home-office 2 days a week!Ready to drive with Continental?
