A Brief Summary of This Position: This position aims to push for product development senior engineer that will interact with local and global team members, towards local and global projects. Global projects are primarily being pushed in a Global basis pushing for a greater interaction of Engineering centers. Essential Functions Assist and lead Global Engineering calls and interact with other engineering leaders across the globe, sharing info, communizing tasks, tools, updating projects, leading global initiatives and so on. Lead, solve, address either local or global developments, per roadmap outlined by product management. As required, execution of training sections for dealers, customers and internal employees on site specific projects. Implement, track and evolve with the project development following the project deliverables and tasks, by the use of Global standards and tools aligned for project development guidance. Encouraged and ultimately responsible to put together presentations, address product specific trainings plus additional technical materials per demand, such as comparisons, spec sheets, product information guide. Continuous search of data to improve the product performance and reliability as a result of information collected from customers, dealers or internal voice of the customer events. Prepare project reports by collecting and analyzing the data received or captured from the field. Own all project needs and requirements such as development of new components, tooling required, follow up closely machine testing, product cost walk plus other activities encountered with the rest of the multi-functional team members from other departments. Field Dealer/Grower trips required. Traveling as required (10-15% of the time, approximately). Connect constantly with the Engineering, After-Sales and Technology team locally and globally. May lead and/or oversee improvement actions arisen from field, along with Quality team. Other Important Details about the Role: Disseminate the knowledge learned to other professionals within the team, allowing the development of other professionals. Push Global projects from Uberaba, requiring the ability to communicate effectively and push other stakeholders, essentially from other departments and roles within the organization. Ability and personality to calmly deal with and de-escalate tense situations in the field and product development. Effectively communicate for the team the demands, general updates, ideas, and questions assigned. Be a self-starter and able to work without immediate supervision. Motivate the team involved. Actively set up meetings to address action items and tasks oriented. Apply your skills to deliver bold and disruptive product experiences that anticipate user needs and exceed their expectations. Provide support to other departments to help complete ongoing projects. Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities): · To be based in Uberaba/MG. · Mechanical Engineering bachelor's degree. · Desirable experience in Tech Products. · Front loading leadership, proactiveness. Own the projects under responsibility until it is launched. · English with advanced level. Ability to communicate effectively with our headquarters, foreign suppliers and so. · Good communication (verbal and writing). · Team-building spirit by influencing others. · Address problems and make decisions efficiently. · Valid driver's license, passport, and ability to travel (10-15% of the time, approximately). · Microsoft office package (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, One Note). · CAD Software (AutoCAD, Solid Works, Inventor and Creo). · Windchill software. · Professional that can navigate across the team, promoting cross-pollination activities, push for team building. · Ability to give presentations to a wider audience/group, in person or online, when required. · Passion and integrity. · Results oriented throughout the goals established. · 4 years of experience in irrigation or any other Ag manufacturer in Engineering. · Behavioral characteristics: proactiveness, leadership, continuous improvement, strong communication skills, quality orientation, organization and results driven.
