The Role The Project Geologist at Seequent will enhance our customer service program by providing exceptional support throughout all stages of customer interaction, from pre-purchase evaluations to assisting experienced users.
This role involves building strong relationships by understanding customer needs and implementing effective solutions.
Success in this role is measured by meeting revenue targets, receiving positive customer feedback, resolving technical issues effectively, and ensuring high user uptake of product upgrades.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Develop revenue targets and focus on license sales, support, training, and project revenue.Identify and create opportunities, organize user forums, and assist in pre-sale activities.Provide remote and in-person technical support, conduct user "health checks," and train new Project Geologists.Test and assess emerging products, gather customer feedback, and maintain the Closing the Gaps Process.Maintain customer contact, monitor satisfaction, support product upgrades, and identify business opportunities.Organize and host user forums to discuss what's going on in the market and the current challenges and gather market intelligence.Drive growth and support customers across Latin America.Collaborate with the business team by setting up demos, webinars, and supplying product information to prospective customers who may be evaluating our software.Be a 'CRM' champion by ensuring the accurate maintenance of the database and 'Closing the Gaps' process, which provides Product Management with vital market information relating to new product/feature development.Diversify your skills by collaborating with the software development teams to understand user needs better.In order to be successful in this role, you should have: Minimum 7 years of experience in geoscience, with specialized knowledge in geoscience software modeling solutions, ideally including Seequent's software.Experience in Geostatistics and Mining Operations, underground and open-pit mining operations, and the Latin American mining markets.University degree in Geoscience or Geology.Advanced Portuguese and English proficiency (written and verbal), Spanish is a plus.Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships within large, multi-functional teams.Strong business acumen, assessment, judgment, and critical thinking abilities.Working Conditions The Project Geologist position at Seequent follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring the employee to work in the office from Tuesday to Thursday during standard office hours.
The remaining days of the week can be worked remotely, providing flexibility while ensuring consistent in-person collaboration and support during the core mid-week days.
