Simulated Reality, an award-winning California company innovating on spatial computing, virtual reality, augmented reality and immersive projects for Healthcare, Museums and Immersive spaces, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our growing teams on a remote contract basis.
All candidates must have experience and strong project management skills, with proven experience in software development projects.
Responsibilities Be the team's Scrum Master.
Lead project management tasks, including reviewing team members' progress and interfacing directly with Simulated Reality clients in the United States, Europe and South America.
Update tasks on Jira software daily, based on weekly sprint planning and client milestones discussed in weekly meetings.
Collaborate with team members to accurately estimate the development time of tasks.
Review current documentation on Confluence and observe the project management process.
Help document all work in progress to ensure future engineers can collaborate and execute tasks related to software engineering.
Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Brazilian Portuguese.
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master).
Experience working with remote teams.
Familiarity with frontend, backend, and app development processes.
Understanding of agile development methodologies.
2 years of proven experience in software development, including software versioning control, management of release schedules, team communication, and dedication.
Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies, particularly Jira.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Location: Remote (Brazil or United States) Work Hours: 9 AM to 5 PM PST (California work hours) 1 PM to 9PM (Brazilian Time) Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
