This Opportunity
FPA is currently searching for a full-time Senior Project Manager – Transportation at our office in Bethlehem, PA.
This position will play a key role in managing the firm's growth in the Eastern Pennsylvania Region.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, demonstrate a strong knowledge of PennDOT and AASHTO Design Standards, and have a proven track record of successful project procurement and delivery for PennDOT, PTC, Counties, and other agencies in Pennsylvania.
Core Responsibilities
Manage and deliver a variety of transportation improvement projects
Monitor project schedules, budgets, and staffing needs
Develop and implement a strategic growth plan for the Pennsylvania Transportation Market
Work closely with senior management on pursuit identification and proposal preparation
Business development and client management
Provide oversight and mentorship of staff
Represent FPA at industry events, technical seminars, and business development opportunities
Collaborate with staff members from other disciplines on large-scale projects
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
10+ years of engineering and transportation experience.
Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania
Strong knowledge of PennDOT, PTC, and AASHTO Design Standards
Proficient with PennDOT ECMS
A proven track record of successful project procurement and delivery for PennDOT, PTC, Counties, and other agencies in Pennsylvania
Experience with PennDOT HOP Permits for private developments
Strong communication skills
