We are currently building a Dev QA team for games.
We're looking for motivated people that love games and can critically assess what is wrong functionality and design-wise in a game.
The DevQA is embedded in the development team and participates in the discussions and creation of features.
Responsibilities
Identify, record, document in detail, and track bugs
Evaluate the quality of features on user experience and playability
Perform in-depth regression testing when bugs are resolved
Collaborate in a team with other testers
Work on a plethora of projects for different platforms
Manage the bug list with the producer
Talk to clients if necessary
Pluses
Shipped multiple game titles as a QA
Experience in testing mobile games
Experience in testing on video game consoles (dev-kits) environments
Experience in testing VR and AR
Coding knowledge: C#, Unity
Requirements
Experience in the gaming industry: +3 years.
Demonstrated experience in test planning for complex features/systems
Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis, etc.
Passion for video games and software quality
Fluent in English
