The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and education with an ability to work closely with our product managers and engineers to develop and execute test strategies for a variety of exciting new features.About the teamOur Quality Engineers are well-versed in the various dimensions of the QA process, including manual, automated, accessibility, performance, and compatibility testing.
With in-house automation testing training and multiple knowledge-sharing and upskilling initiatives, our QA experts help create the next generation of software testing professionals.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the whole lifecycle of software development from planning to releaseReview business requirements and develop test plans, test cases, test estimations, and test execution reportsPerform functionality, regression, integration, UI, smoke, exploratory, stress and performance testingManage all communications related to QA status on a daily basis and report potential risks during all stages of development lifecycleWork closely with development and product teams to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing processAnalyze test results and facilitate resolution of issuesIterate on existing testing processes and standards to improve efficiency and accuracyRequirements7+ years of work experience in software quality assurance3+ years focus on mobile testing2+ years with automationBachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or a related disciplineStrong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processesProficiency in writing test plans, creating test cases, test data, and managing/tracking defect logsExtensive experience in testing web and mobile applicationsHands-on experience in test automation tools for mobile applicationsExperience with CI/CD tools to ensure continuous testingExceptional attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work both independently and on a wide variety of teamsPassion for making bulletproof applications and improving education through technologySelf-motivated, detail oriented, proactive and collaborativeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of JIRA, Unix, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, source control, and mobile device development is a plusScripting or programming experience is a plusGlobal leaders in digital consulting, design, and engineering services, MentorMate and Tietoevry Create are equal-opportunity employers.
