Responsabilities Be the POC (Point of Contact) between the global team and the regional/local team to ensure effective communication between them
Be the spokesperson and ensure the deployment of the strategies that come from Global and adapt them to LATAM in its different subregions (Mexico, Brazil & Southern Cone and CACAR & Andean)
Develop strategies together with the global, regional and local team on asset management.
These strategies must consider at least:
Asset reliability (productive, utilities and facilities)
Management (through maintenance managers) of key indicators such as MTBF, MTTR, inventory control in spare parts warehouses, POR (point of reorder) assurance, preventive and predictive maintenance plans that must feed into the master plan of each site in its different control platforms (SAP PM or local), reduction of corrective maintenance
Through asset management, contribute to increasing the safety, food safety and productivity (OEE, Tons/hr, etc.) of our production processes and make the energy consumption of utilities (WAGES..Water, Air, Gas, Electricity, Steam) of each site more efficient.
Conduct failure predictability analysis supported by external specialists and thus plan major projects/maintenance in a preventive and predictive manner
Support each Plant Manager/Maintenance Manager in their Asset Management plans
Co-lead, together with the project engineering team, sustainability engineer and maintenance management, the projects that arise from equipment obsolescence analyses.
Qualifications & Skills
10-15 years of experience in Maintenance, Reliability, TPM, Asset Management
Analysis, feasibility and execution of projects in the consumer industry (food, pharmaceutical)
Reliability program management, asset management and reduction of losses due to equipment failures
Inventory management in maintenance
MTBF, MTTR, SAP, PdM, CRM,
Regional and multicultural reach
Regional reliability strategy
Fluent in English
