Latin American country operations include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru.About the roleThe Senior Representative - Treasury Systems oversees the day-to-day activities for the Treasury Management System (Quantum) and helps develop and execute implementation of Finance and Treasury projects, primarily for LAO countries.The Successful candidate would be the lead person from IO countries to support and implement projects and initiatives from local Treasuries and Finance teams.The Specialist-Treasury Systems also participates in the strategic and operational decision-making process for the department.What you needBachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related areas.Desired experience of 1-3 years in financial areas, especially in Treasury and Back-office operations.Knowledge of Corporate Banking and Capital Markets, Primarily in LAO countriesKnowledge of financial analysis and cash management.Advanced knowledge of finance, accounting, and/or financial servicesKnowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel-Advanced.SQL Query experience. Preference but not a must.Knowledge of Oracle. Preference but not a must.Experience with Treasury Workstations preferred.Must have excellent English oral, written and communication skills, Spanish and Portuguese – preferenceAbility to use good judgment in making decisions independently relating to daily Treasury/Finance activities.Ability to work with all levels of management through daily interface and formal presentation.Detail and Results oriented.Display commitment to continuous improvement of business.Mathematical ability to understand and calculate payments based on local accounting rules.Must have organizational skills.Must have time management skills.Proven ability to operate in the banking/corporate environment.What you will be doingOversees Treasury Systems and Projects related to cash flow, investments, debt, and capital management.Conducts and/or participates in meetings with different teams throughout the Organization to develop a solid understanding of upcoming and ongoing projects and the associated impact to the departments.Support Business initiatives and projects taking into account local regulations, Methodologies and process by the utilization of the Treasury SystemReviews software, technical and functional requirements to ensure department requirements are thoroughly documented and supported.Coordinates testing including developing test scripts, reviewing documentation and test results and communicating any issues to management, developers and business analysts.Monitors Local Regulations, Banking and Capital Markets policies and procedures in each countryPerform other duties as assigned.Conform with all company policies and procedures.What we offerAt GM Financial we want you to be the most authentic version of yourself.
