Senior Safety Engineer (Automotive Industry)

Job Title: Senior Safety EngineerShare People Hub, in partnership with a global automotive company, is searching for a Senior Safety Engineer.What You'll Do:The engineer is responsible for providing safety solutions that fit with both high voltage and functional safety by the respective safety analysis.Requirement Engineer is responsible for providing a technical solution that fits with the inputs requirements, is supported by the respective analysis, and is developed as per applicable technical standards.Develop component functional and non-functional concepts for inverter up to 250kW electric motor or any other HV component in electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.Defining & extracting requirements for E-power train components in battery electric vehicles and the plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.Decompose requirements into different ASIL-Levels, if needed; according to ISO-26262.Review safety concepts for the powertrain for battery electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.Review the requirements for correctness and completeness against input requirements and ISO 26262.Defining and extracting the HV requirements from the applicable legislations (Important: US; Europe, China).What You'll Need:University degree in courses related to Electrical, Power Electronics, Mechatronics.Experience in der ePowerTrain, HPEV, Inverter, DCDC.Experience in chargers, batteries, HV safety norms.Experience in ISO 26262-Engineering.Experience in Requirements Engineering.Core tools: IBM Rational Doors, HP ALM, Jira, Configuration Management (SVN).
