Job description Development is the largest discipline at Endava. Our developers design, build, and release software products in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and libraries. Always collaborating with cross-functional project teams, our developers are adaptable problem-solvers with a client-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities: Provide advice in Salesforce technical areas.Respectfully challenge ambiguity or use of Salesforce in ways it wasn't intended to be used, whilst being adaptive and open to new ideas. Configure and develop new functionalities on top of Salesforce, using standard techniques for extending the platform. Provide active guidance on best practices and troubleshooting. Work within the Scrum Team to deliver the sprint scope in time and with the expected quality Accept the culture of constant improvement by working in an environment that provides support, but also the challenge for growth Contribute to the development of coding guidelines and ensure high code quality across the projects. Qualifications: 3-5+ years of Salesforce development experience Apex Programming: Proficiency in Salesforce's Apex programming language for custom development. Visualforce and Lightning Components: Experience in creating custom user interfaces using Visualforce and Lightning Web Components (LWC). Salesforce APIs: Knowledge of Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP) for integrations with external systems. Configuration and Customization: Skills in configuring and customizing Salesforce Service Cloud to meet business needs. Object-Oriented Programming: Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. JavaScript: Proficiency in JavaScript, particularly for working with Lightning Web Components. SOQL and SOSL: Experience with Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL) for database operations. Testing and Debugging: Skills in writing and executing test classes, and debugging Apex code. Version Control Systems: Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Salesforce Development Tools: Experience with Salesforce development tools such as Salesforce CLI, Visual Studio Code, and Salesforce DX.
