Must haves
MuleSoft Experience: 4+ years of experience transforming complex strategic business requirements into workable technology solutions with deep knowledge of Mulesoft API workflows and ecosystem. MuleSoft Certification Level 1 is a Must have;
Microservices: 3 years of hands-on experience designing and developing microservices;
Platform Software: 6+ years of experience planning, designing, and developing platform software;
Domain Expertise: Proven track record in delivering and maintaining scalable solutions in the Marketing and Sales domain with Salesforce, MuleSoft, and backend integration experience;
Enterprise Integration: At least 5 years of experience in Enterprise Integration/Middleware Solutions, API life cycle management, and building integration frameworks;
API Development: At least 5 years of experience in API Development and Strategy, Web services, and workflows, with extensive project experience designing and implementing APIs using MuleSoft;
API Security: At least 2 years of experience implementing API Security and Access Control (OAuth/SAML, Web SSO, SSL, etc.);
API Best Practices: Knowledge of API best practices and performance tuning;
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex technical information clearly;
API Analytics: Experience in generating custom reports and integrating with external tools like Splunk;
Developer Portal: Experience in developer portal setup and customization and API Administration;
Build and Deployment: Knowledge of build and deployment methodologies with Apigee across environments;
Mulesoft Architecture: Strong knowledge of Mulesoft component architecture, implementation configurations, high availability, load balancing, and failover configurations;
Health Checks: Knowledge of health checks and monitoring procedures;
API Led Connectivity: Experience in designing and implementing API-led connectivity;
Dataweave and Munit: Proficient in using Dataweave 2.0 and building Munit test cases;
Education: MS or BS in Science or Engineering.
Nice to haves
Extensive experience in API-led development and building interfaces using Messaging, Pub-Sub model, and Databases;
Experience integrating Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, Snowflake, Service Mesh, Fabric Architectures, Custom applications, and other SaaS applications using MuleSoft;
Familiarity with dapr, Istio, Apache Camel, Kafka;
Knowledge of data structure and data management practices (maps, caches, ETL);
Hands-on experience in Microservices, API, Java 8, AWS Cloud Solutions, Springboot, ELK, API Gateway, Relational and/or NoSQL databases;
Understanding of security, high availability engineering, containerization, serverless computing;
Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery using tools such as JUnit, Mocking, TestNG, Jenkins, Git, Stash, and Jira;
Ability to evangelize, design, and deliver cloud solutions aligned to business and IT requirements;
Experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing;
Guide implementation teams to successful delivery using industry best practices, patterns, and principles.
