About the role: Seeking experienced Senior SOC Analyst to provide advanced threat detection, expert incident analysis, and Tier 3 resolution for complex security incidents. Your insights will help us adapt our security and compliance guidelines and procedures. As a senior member of the SOC team, you will play a leadership role in protecting Wiley's technology and information security systems from security incidents and helping to resolve incidents in a timely and secure manner.
How you will make an impact: Lead complex incident investigations and coordinate incident response efforts. Develop and refine SOC processes, procedures, and playbooks. Conduct threat intelligence analysis and incorporate findings into detection mechanisms. Perform proactive threat-hunting and vulnerability assessments. Collaborate with management to improve SOC capabilities and maturity. Provide training and mentorship to Level 1 and Level 2 analysts. Evaluate and integrate new security technologies and tools. What we are looking for: Expert knowledge of cybersecurity threats, TTPs, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework. Demonstrated proficiency in advanced threat detection techniques and forensic analysis. Experience with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools. Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills. Certifications (optional but beneficial): Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), GIAC Security Expert (GSE).
