For example, Fox, NBC Universal, Viacom in the USA, Sky, Channel 4, RTE, and Mediaset in Europe. Responsibilities Design new software and web applications, support applications under development, and customize current applications. Develop software update processes for existing applications Create technical documentation using an understanding of internal business areas and processes Demonstrate expertise in engineering methodologies, concepts, and skills and their application in a specific engineering specialty Use a combination of several cutting-edge AWS services, third-party commercial software, and internally developed software to store, process, and deliver near real-time data to a variety of the largest media companies in the world Requirements 5 years of programming in software engineering with Go and Python At least 2 years of recent experience with the Golang language Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes Strong understanding of GRPC protocol and Protobuf Solid understanding of SQL At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English Would be a plus Experience with Snowflake Experience with Databricks Experience with Airflow
