Ready to design what's next?In this role, you will lead a team of software engineers who build and maintain microservices and web applications that compose the RUN product, an ADP's human capital management platform that helps our customers save time, stay compliant, and manage their workforce.
You will spend your time checking in with your team, stateside or abroad, facilitating the team's work through coaching and guidance, and providing leadership with realistic expectations and deadlines.
You will be the final set of eyes to review technical solutions for quarterly initiatives and manage ad-hoc requests as they arise.
You'll be accountable for something significant: the uncompromising quality of products that impact people's lives.To thrive in this role, you need to have skills in the three pillars: Software Engineering, Project Management, and Leadership.
You'll need a solid understanding of software development at scale, including knowledge of Microsoft technologies (.NET, SQLServer), JavaScript (Node.js and React.js), Cloud Services, Relational Databases, microservice and micro-frontend architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and be up to date with technology trends.
You need to know how to manage software development projects using Agile Methodologies, applying the processes that best fit each team.
You need to know the best practices on Software Development Life Cycle and manage software engineers' careers, pursuing their growth alongside ADP's growth.Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively will keep the team informed of company-wide initiatives and leadership comfortable with the team's progress.
Team collaboration and exchange of ideas are central to projects here.
You will be a role model for motivating yourself and the team to maintain positive momentum and energy.
