Your role: Implementing, upgrading, and maintaining the organization's NAS infrastructure;Overseeing the delivery and documentation of ITSM processes such as Capacity and Availability Management, Performance Management, Lifecycle Management, Patch and Vulnerability Management, Backup & Disaster Recovery Management, Security and Hardening, Audit & Compliance, and more.Ensuring that all new and existing services undergo appropriate design, planning, and operational implementation.In addition to typical Storage Administrator responsibilities, you'll be tasked with recommending innovative and, whenever possible, automated approaches to infrastructure tasks.Lead the resolution of escalated, complex incidents, problems, or capacity concerns.Support outside of regular office hours for emergency assistance, routine maintenance, and customer service.Who you are: Formal education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related technology fields.Must be comfortable working in US time zone hours (Mostly EST).Previous experience in NAS storage administration, with a focus on NetApp storage solutions.Strong understanding of storage protocols (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI) and storage networking concepts (SAN, NAS).Comprehensive knowledge of Network Attached Storage (NAS) architecture and its hardware/software products.Proficient with NetApp NAS Storage (CDOT) platforms, including StorageGRID, FabricPool, replication, and backup strategies (SnapVault, SnapMirror).Exposure to NetApp cloud offerings such as BlueXp, FSX Ontap & CVO.Familiarity with file share platforms such as CTERA and Cloud object storage (Scality Ring).Familiarity with migration tools such as DataDobi, Robocopy, and securecopy.Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions, such as TSM & Commvault.Proficiency in scripting/automation using Ansible, with hands-on experience in open-source analytics and visualization tools like Grafana.Experience with SAN storage arrays and switches is advantageous, particularly IBM SVC, FSxxxx, and Brocade SAN directors.Relevant certifications, such as NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) or NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIE), are a plus.Language skills: English Advanced.
