Insight Global is seeking a Technical Architect to support a multi-national power management client of ours to support digital software, including subscription software, from an IT infrastructure perspective. This is a key role in supporting product registration and authentication. This position is responsible for defining and communicating a shared architectural vision for a complex product (highly integrated, multiple applications) that enables them to support current and future business needs. This role will be the lead for defining technical solutions, features, and integrations. This includes technical leadership of the team's use and delivery of cloud infrastructure and vendor SaaS applications, custom microservices and API management. They will collaborate with Agile teams to consider solutions, validate technology assumptions, evaluate alternatives, and converge on a solution. Finally, this resource will work closely with Enterprise and Solution Architects to deliver solutions that are aligned to the broader architecture guardrails. Responsibilities: Develop knowledge of the technology platforms and infrastructure services provided by the Platform. Work with global product teams to identify, prioritize, document, and manage their requirements of the BCP As the technical subject matter expert, support IT team members, including API developers, systems analyst, and business analysts Design and implement technical capabilities, leveraging standard solutions, integrating with third party software, and building microservices Play a key role in understanding and communicating the technical and financial benefits of utilizing the BCP platforms and services to product teams. Requirements: Extensive experience utilizing best practices in software engineering Expert level understanding of Microsoft Azure and microservices architecture Extensive experience developing enterprise grade, highly scalable, highly performant applications, and/or distributed systems Extensive experience working with Azure functions and durable functions Extensive experience with NoSQL databases Extensive experience with API management (such as Apigee Edge, MuleSoft) Expert level skills in Java and associated IDE's (Eclipse, IntelliJ, etc.) Familiar with C# / .NET framework and associated IDE's (Visual Studio etc.) Expert level understanding of software design principles, design patterns, algorithms, data structures, and multithreading concepts Expert level understanding of DevSecOps, CI, and CD principles from code check-in through to deployment Extensive experience with modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services. Familiar with monitoring solutions such as Dynatrace Solid understanding and proven usage of cybersecurity concepts such as encryption, hashing, certificates, PKIs, Threat Modeling, secure coding, and OWASP. O-auth or SSL Extensive experience working with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban Azure fundamentals certification (AZ900) or commitment to get the certification before starting the role Nice to Have: Experience working with subscription management or entitlement management platforms – Revenera or Gimalta Experience with multiple cloud service providers such as Azure, AWS, and GCP. Certification is a plus Familiar with web development best practices, and with web content management platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager
