Your mission Join our team as a senior trademark search and clearance specialist and contribute to our specialized clearance team by performing comprehensive and effective trademark searches and clearances. This role involves analyzing and assessing the search outcomes and offering legal advice that aligns with our clients' needs.
You will be expected to provide your expertise and leadership to our committed search team, ensuring and constantly improving the standard of our trademark search and clearance practices. This role demands strategic management to enhance workflows, refine search techniques, and support project efforts designed to elevate the IT tools utilized in trademark clearance activities.
As a senior specialist you will play a crucial role in collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate and implement solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and speed in the trademark clearance process.
If desired, you will also have the opportunity to get involved in trademark law practice by providing a wide range of trademark-related services such as comprehensive legal advice, trademark strategy design or trademark prosecution.
What experience/skills will you need? We seek a candidate with a deep passion for trademark law who possesses the following abilities:
Legal expertise in trademark law - profound understanding of trademark law, ideally across multiple jurisdictions, including the registration process, classifications and registrability thresholds
Research and analytical skills - exceptional ability to conduct comprehensive searches using various trademark databases and tools to identify potential conflicts with existing trademarks; analytical skills are crucial for interpreting search results accurately and assessing the risk of trademark infringement
Team-oriented mindset and ability to lead junior colleagues - guiding and mentoring team members, managing workflows, and ensuring that searches and clearances are conducted efficiently and effectively
Attention to detail, strategic thinking and problem-solving mindset
Business-oriented mindset and eagerness for continuous learning
Fluent in English (C1 level)
