**Purpose of the role**:
As a Sr. IT Engineer, you will be responsible to provide technical support and manage TWS (Tivoli Workload Schedule) jobs; create, maintain and update all calendars in TWS; create schedules, streams, jobs and automated alarms in TWS, collaborate with multiple teams to understand and ultimately provide accurate scheduling, reporting and monitoring of each job, stream and system flow; troubleshoot errors and seek continuous improvement in services on your responsibility.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Identify and solve incidents.
- Improve and optimize client's environment.
- Achieve a high level of customer's satisfaction.
- Provide preventative action plans if metrics do not meet the Excellence Program (EP) Targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), operational Excellence Measures.
- Maintain system documentation and follow Sarbanes Oxley (SOX).
- Ongoing technical support with the ability to respond and resolve issues appropriate to the SLA. Escalate issues as appropriate and conduct the appropriate action plans.
- Track and report on requested enhancements.
- Create root cause analysis.
- Identify recurring incidents and trigger Problem management process.
- Proactively identify trends in Service provided, implement improvements, and provide feedback on improvements.

**Qualifications, Experience & Skills**:

- 3+ years of experience working with Tivoli Workload Scheduler.
- Experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting TWS jobs.
- Experience scheduling SAP jobs.
- Knowledge in one or more scripting languages (ex: JCL, Shell, Powershell or Bash)
- Knowledge in Windows, Linux and AIX.
- ITIL Framework.
- Communicating effectively by conveying information and ideas in English, in a clear, meaningful, and timely manner, providing information to ensure understanding; solicit inputs and provide open candid conversations.
- Experience in working in large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.
- Spanish is a plus.
- Experience with COBOL (Micro Focus Enterprise Server) is a plus.
- Datadog knowledge is a plus.
- Azure knowledge is an advantage.

**Education**:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Strong written and verbal English skills.
- TWS job skills (reschedule jobs, manage job processing, ad-hoc job handling, etc )
- Ability to generate business insights from statistical model)
