As a Senior UX designer on our team, you will lead our product through its most complex UX challenges and discover how to delight our customers with intuitive, actionable experiences that fit seamlessly into their workflows. You will deeply orient yourself around actual customers, become an expert in their user journeys, and drive UX strategy based on that expertise. This is a role that combines aspects of research & design. You will own projects from start to finish and be a champion for the value of user research and design in our organization. Responsibilities: UX Design : Own the end-to-end design process from discovery to production which may include research proposals, information architecture, interactive prototypes and high-fidelity artifacts that engineering can deliver. User Research : Conduct research to deepen our understanding of our user personas, discover opportunities to solve problems that matter, and propose solutions that will generate value for our customers. Prototyping and Testing : Plan and conduct tests to validate the usability and value of your solutions as quickly as possible. Iteratively improve the user experience until we're confident it will delight our customers. UX Strategy : Influence the vision and strategy of our product's experience by analyzing, consolidating, and synthesizing what is known about the needs of our customers. Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to refine product strategy and create user-centric solutions to the most important customer problems. Continuous Improvement : Seek out and experiment with user-centered design and research methodologies. Encourage growth, innovation and creativity within the design org. Required Skills: 5 years of experience in UX design and research, ideally within financial services or related B2B. Understanding of financial markets and the workflows of institutional buyside participants. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly to a diverse audience. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma. Excellent user research skills and the ability to translate research findings into tangible design solutions. Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.
