What you will do
Collaborate with 5 other designers, researchers, and a content designer to modernize and improve the messaging experience;
Work closely with product teams and engineers to develop end-to-end product designs, from identifying problems to delivering solutions;
Contribute to brainstorming sessions and collaborate with other designers to innovate and solve problems;
Participate in usability testing and collaborate with researchers to determine testing requirements, analyze results, and iterate on designs;
Design features and workflows that meet legal and accessibility requirements, including accessibility compliance;
Work on messaging solutions such as enabling job seekers to send SMS to employers and enhancing the messaging experience.
Must haves
Bachelor's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Information Design, Graphic Design, or a related field;
4+ years
of product design experience with a proven track record of hands-on execution;
Proficient in
Figma
for interaction design and prototyping;
Comfortable using
Google Suite
for documentation and collaboration;
Proven experience collaborating with product teams rather than solely agency or freelance projects;
Experience working from concept to execution, solving problems, and driving resolutions;
Knowledge of usability testing, including setting up tests and analyzing results;
Strong understanding of information architecture, workflows, and decision-making for complex design solutions;
Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
Nice to haves
Familiarity with legal requirements for messaging and accessibility;
Experience designing SMS interactions or similar messaging solutions;
Experience working with researchers and content designers.
