What you'll do:
- Provide 1st line investigation and diagnosis of IT issues and requests, resolve, or escalate as appropriate.
- Monitor issues from start to resolution.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and monitoring work.
- Provide basic training and "how-to" knowledge sharing for business colleagues.
- Work with 3rd parties and other teams within Aggreko's IT function to provide seamless IT support, facilitate change and introduce new services.
- Contribute to creation and updating of support documentation.
- Setup and configuration of user devices.
We're experts, which means you'll have the following skills and experience:
- University degree completed or in progress.
- Advanced English (required for global user support).
- Experience working in a 1st or 2nd level IT support role.
- Collaborative approach to problem solving with team and other technical groups.
- This position is for our 12x36 night shift (20:00 - 08:00 AM). Due to the training period, it is necessary to have two to three weeks of face-to-face training. After that, home office, with occasionally a visit to the company each 2 months, when necessary.
