DescriptionThe After Sales Engineer should be responsible to develop and perform the after sales operation for Brazil, especially for projects. Responsible to manage the after sales services provided on the region markets by local dealers and after sales partners to installers and end users. Should provide remote support, technical training for partners and on-site service. Must be available for business trips and understand the electric and photovoltaic standards and requirements from the related country.Responsabilities
Develop and perform the after sales operation for Brazil;
Manage, train and supervise the After Sales Partners regarding the after sales operation provided by them to the local installers and end users;
Handle general inquires for technical support and after sales related activities;
Training the partners to provide daily technical support to customers over phone line, email, or face to face;
Solve / handle technical escalations from the customers;
Support and assist the sales team in technical demands when needed;
Provide technical advice for local distributors and end customers;
Provide on-site inspection, commissioning, troubleshooting and replacement of defectives products, with appointments of customers in advance;
Supervise local Service Logistic providers, manage local exchange of damaged units & return of faulty inverters to local exchange warehouses;
Manage and train the local Service providers (Installers) & customers to avoid future failure of inverters due to installation error;
Perform firmware upgrading and minor reworks in hardware locally when necessary;
Maintain frequent communication with management staff in Brazil;
Maintain a good communication with Level 2 engineers based in HQ office;
Provide technical training courses and roadshow, installation and after-sales to customers or potential customers, installers and O&M operators, and third-party service providers;
Attend exhibitions and marketing events and introduce products and solutions;
Submit the related reports and documents to supervisor every week.Required Skills
Advanced English for speaking and writing;
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Photovoltaics, Renewable Energy or other comparable degree;
Advanced knowledge of PV Inverters (on-grid and storage);
At least 3 years of experience with PV inverters;
Experience with CG (Centralized Generation)/PV Large Projects;
Proven Onsite experience such as Troubleshooting, DC Check, Inverter and Transformer installation and commissioning, able to handle tools and instruments like multimeter, megameter, IV Curve Tracer, electrical insulation meter, etc.
Be legally able to work with LV and HV Installations (must have all the necessary local permission and certifications);
Basic knowledge in sizing electrical circuits, PV arrangement, protection circuits, and interpretation of electrical diagrams;
MS Office.Optional Skills(If you have them, it's a Plus!)
Experience with lead-acid and lithium batteries for PV storage systems;
Knowledge of AutoCAD and PVSyst;
Spanish speaking and writing.Attributions
