How you'll add value
As a SFDC Engineer II you are critical to our sales and client service teams' success!
You are responsible for execution of SFDC backlog at Paycor.
As the technical designer and developer, you must work across business units to gain a clear understanding of functional requirements and use your SFDC expertise to develop and implement solutions.
To be successful in this role you must have in-depth knowledge of SFDC development best practices and SFDC offerings to ensure scalable solutions are designed and implemented.
In addition, you must be a great team player with excellent communication skills.
Like the industry and SFDC, we move fast.
We need you to stay fresh with new technology, software and architecture as it pertains to SFDC and their new offerings so that you can innovate daily.
Duties and Core Responsibilities
- The SFDC Engineer II role is an APEX developer role' responsible for execution of SFDC backlog at Paycor.
- Participate in design decisions, and the ability to execute the design.
- Provide feedback to the business regarding status of work and any roadblocks encountered along the way.
- Support deployments and resolve deployment issues.
- Do whatever is necessary to get to your team's definition of done.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and latest SFDC offerings and development best practices.
**Requirements**:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- 3 years of SFDC development experience or 4 years of Object oriented development experience and 2 years of SFDC development experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer science, MIS or related technology field
- 2 years of experience with any common SFDC IDE
- 1 or more years of experience with Lightning
- At least 1 year of experience with Communities, Service/Sales Cloud, Einstein, Test classes
- At least 1 year of experience with Version control systems and deployments
- Solid understanding of Salesforce security model
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, specifically Agile.
- Experience working as part of an Agile SDLC team, familiarity with Agile software development principles and concepts, working in a collaborative, iterative process.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally and effectively with a diverse group of associates across various business units.
- Creative solutions oriented mindset and innovator.
- High energy self-starter; must be flexible and able to take the initiative with mínimal guidance.
- Experience in delivering SaaS products preferred.

In addition to base pay, Paycor Associates are eligible for either a performance-based annual bonus or commission, depending on their position.
