As SHE Manager LATAM (GOE) you will grow your skillset and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to create the strategy that helps the company take care of our people. The SHE&S leader will be part of an integrated team of professionals which ensures compliance with company SHE&S policies and programs, and supports key stakeholders in driving continuous improvement in our care culture.

Your key responsibilities
Support the Global team to drive the SHE&S agenda in the region. Execute strategic priorities for the region as decided in alignment with the Global SHE&S group.
Lead, coach, train, and provide support to the different sites in the region to develop and maintain their SHE & Security capabilities and leadership resulting in a knowledgeable, engaged, and disciplined SHE culture.
Lead the SHE&S Program to ensure each site has actions to let employees, contractors, and visitors work in a safe manner and return home uninjured.
Partner with sites' teams to build safety & security culture and competencies. Work with the sites to support successful implementation and compliance of the dsm-firmenich SHE&S standards & policies, ensuring a robust and effective local management system is in place.
Act as a bridge between the Global SHE&S team and production sites, assuring seamless communication to deliver the SHE&S strategy.
You Bring
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry/Mechanical/Engineering science or related scientific field.
Experience in SHE&S and/or Operations.
Proven experience in Safety, Health, Environment & Security (SHE&S) and/or Operations, preferably within the chemical or manufacturing sectors.
Ability to effectively lead and motivate teams, showcasing strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Willingness to travel regularly (approximately 30% to 40% of the time) to support operations and initiatives at our sites, including Barra do Garça (Mato Grosso, Brazil), Maquinque (Minas Gerais, Brazil), Pecém (Ceará, Brazil), Sete Lagoas (Minas Gerais, Brazil), and El Salto (Jalisco, Mexico).
Relevant SHE & Security qualifications or certifications that align with the responsibilities of the role.
